Michigan City Girls Varsity Tennis Team Wins 5-0 Against Merrillville

Michigan City High School’s Girls Varsity Tennis team brings home 5 – 0 win in Monday evening’s match against Merrillville High School.

The Michigan City Wolves: Girls Varsity Tennis team came home with a shut-out win against Merrillville High School on Monday evening with a final score of 5 -0.

Of the five matches, only one match was a closely contested.


In the #2 SIngles match, Evangelea Dabagia won, scoring 6 – 0 in each set. In the #3 Singles match, Brianne Norman won, scoring 6 – 0 in the first set and 6 – 1 in the second.

In the doubles matches, Sara Poulin and Madison Laux won 6 – 3 in each set and Emma Sells and Kasey Halfacre won 6 -1 in the first set and 6 -0 in the second.


Sydney Kohler took home a three-set victory in #1 singles match, the only closely contested match of the evening, scoring 6-4, 3-6, and 6-4.
