Marquette High Seeking Host Familes For 2018-19 Exchange Students

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind.¬†— Marquette Catholic High School is looking for several families willing to host students from abroad as they join the Blazers in the 2018-19 school year.

Host families have the option of short three-week hosting terms or full academic year terms.

Marquette High is also offering incentives to families who open their doors to the foreign students stating the families will be eligible to study in Spain in the spring of 2019.

For the upcoming year, the school is expecting four boys and eight girls from Barcelona, Spain from September 4 through the 25th and two more girls from Barcelona for eight weeks in the early fall.

Host families will also be needed for three students from Guatemala beginning October 10th until December 18th and three year-long students, one boy from Japan and two girls from Vietnam.

Anyone interested in helping the school by opening their doors to these students is asked to contact the director of admissions, Jennifer Quinlan at (219) 873-1325.
